Seems O’Keefe is in the news again for being caught up in a Federal Probe as you can read here in Cape Cod Times

This is the guy who in Invisible Eden had a lot of nasty things to say about Christa Worthington and a lot of insults to say about me calling me a nut case and a colorful character.

Past problems

O’Keefe was criticized for his handling of the murder of Christa Worthington in 2002 because of comments he made about the victim’s character. Questions also were raised about a gun stolen from his Sandwich home in 2006 — a case that remains unsolved.

Peter Manso, an outspoken critic of O’Keefe who is penning a book about the conviction of Christopher McCowen for Worthington’s murder, said he’s perplexed by the Cape’s willingness to keep electing O’Keefe.

“He is representing us, the commonwealth, he’s so vindictive, so out of control, so sadistically myopic to engender in our kids open disrespect of the law,” Manso said.

O’Keefe said in his initial statement Tuesday that the investigation will not interrupt his work. “I am proud of my record and the record of this office,” he said.
